Ἡ ΕΙΣΑΓΩΓΗ.
Γιατί ἐπιλέξαμε τὸν τίτλο
«Τὸ Μήνυμα τῆς Μεγάλης Δευτέρας».
Παρ' ὅλο ποὺ ἡ Κυριακὴ τῶν Βαΐων εἶναι ἡ λαμπρὴ ἑορτὴ τῆς ὑποδοχῆς τοῦ Βασιλέως τῶν Βασιλέων, ἐπιλέξαμε νὰ ἑστιάσουμε στὸ μήνυμα τῆς Μεγάλης Δευτέρας.
Ὁ λόγος εἶναι ὅτι ἡ ἀνθρωπότητα σήμερα δὲν φαίνεται νὰ βρίσκεται στὸν θρίαμβο τῆς ὑποδοχῆς, ἀλλὰ στὴν «ἀρχή τῶν ὠδινῶν».
Ἐν μέσῳ πολέμων, πείνας, παγκόσμιας ἀταξίας καὶ ἠθικῆς ξηρασίας, ὁ κόσμος βιώνει ἤδη τὸ δικό του Πάθος.
Ἡ Μεγάλη Δευτέρα, μὲ τὴν εἰκόνα τῆς ξηρανθείσης συκῆς καὶ τὴν προφητεία γιὰ τὰ ἔσχατα, ἀντικατοπτρίζει τὴν τρέχουσα ἀγωνία μας, θυμίζοντάς μας ὅτι μέσα ἀπὸ τὴ δοκιμασία καὶ τὴν ταπείνωση τοῦ Πάθους ὁδηγούμαστε στὴν ἀληθινὴ Ἀνάσταση.
1. Ἡ Φωνὴ ποὺ διαπερνᾶ τὸν Ἅδη.
Ὅπως ὁ Χριστὸς στάθηκε μπροστὰ στὸν τάφο του Λαζάρου, ἔτσι στέκεται καὶ σήμερα μπροστὰ στὸν «τάφο» τοῦ σύγχρονου πολιτισμοῦ.
Τὸ μήνυμα εἶναι: Μὴν ἀπελπίζεσαι.
Ἡ δυσωδία τῆς τεταρταίας σήψης
(τῆς ἠθικῆς καὶ πνευματικῆς κατάπτωσης)
δὲν ἐμποδίζει τὸν Θεό. Μία μόνο λέξη Του ἀρκεῖ γιὰ νὰ ἀναστήσει τὸ «νεκρωμένο» αὐτεξούσιο τοῦ ἀνθρώπου.
Ἡ ἀνθρωπότητα δὲν εἶναι χαμένη· εἶναι ἁπλῶς «δεσμευμένη κειρίαις» ἀπὸ τὰ πάθη της, περιμένοντας τὴν φωνὴν τοῦ Δεσπότου.
2. Ἡ Εἴσοδος στὸν "Νυμφῶνα" τῆς Θυσίας.
Ἡ εἴσοδος στὰ Ἱεροσόλυμα μᾶς διδάσκει ὅτι ὁ ἀληθινὸς Βασιλιᾶς δὲν ἔρχεται μὲ «δεξαμενὲς σκέψης» καὶ «ψηφιακοὺς θρόνους», ἀλλὰ «πραΰς καὶ ἐπιβεβηκὼς ἐπὶ ὑποζύγιον».
Στὸν λαὸ ποὺ πονᾶ, πρέπει νὰ δώσουμε τὸ παράδειγμα τῆς ὑπομονῆς.
Στὴν ἐξουσία ποὺ ἀλαζονεύεται, πρέπει νὰ θυμίσουμε τὴν ταπείνωση.
Ἡ Μεγάλη Δευτέρα μᾶς καλεῖ νὰ γίνουμε «βιαστὲς» τῆς Βασιλείας, ὄχι μὲ τὴ βία τῶν ὅπλων ἢ τῶν computers, ἀλλὰ μὲ τὴ βία πάνω στὸν ἑαυτό μας, γιὰ νὰ καθαρίσουμε τὴ «στολὴ τῆς ψυχῆς» μας.
3. Ὁ "Νυμφίος" ἔρχεται ἐν τῷ μέσῳ τῆς νυκτός.
Ζοῦμε τὴν «νύχτα» τῆς ἱστορίας. Ἀλλὰ
ἡ Ἐκκλησία ψάλλει: «Ἰδοὺ ὁ Νυμφίος ἔρχεται».
Αὐτὸ ποὺ δίνουμε στὸν λαὸ εἶναι
ἡ Ἐγρήγορση.
Μὴν κοιμᾶστε τὸν ὕπνο τῆς ἀπιστίας.
Μὴν πλανᾶστε ἀπὸ τὰ «φύλλα κεραμέως» τῆς παγκόσμιας δύναμης. Ὅλα αὐτὰ θὰ γίνουν στάχτη, ἀλλὰ ἡ Ἀγάπη καὶ ἡ Χάρη θὰ μείνουν.
Τὸ Ἀπόσταγμα.
Σήμερα, Μεγάλη Δευτέρα τῆς ἀνθρωπότητας, ὁ λόγος μας πρέπει νὰ εἶναι:
«Ἰδοὺ ὁ Ἄνθρωπος» καὶ «Ἰδοὺ ὁ Θεός».
Ἂς μὴ φοβόμαστε τὰ πάθη ποὺ ἔρχονται, γιατί μετὰ τὴν Σταύρωση ἀκολουθεῖ ἡ Ἀνάστασις.
Ἡ ἀνθρωπότητα μπορεῖ νὰ καίγεται, ἀλλὰ μέσα ἀπὸ τὶς στάχτες τῶν computers καὶ τῆς ἀλαζονείας, ὁ Χριστὸς θὰ ἀναστήσει πάλι τὸν «Λάζαρο-Ἄνθρωπο», ἀρκεῖ ἐμεῖς νὰ κρατήσουμε τὴν φλόγα τῆς Πίστεως ἀναμμένη, σὰν τὶς φρόνιμες παρθένες.
«Τὸν νυμφῶνὰ Σου βλέπω, Σωτήρ μου, κεκοσμημένον...» Ἂς ἑτοιμάσουμε τὴν καρδιά μας γιὰ τὴν συνάντηση. Αὐτὸ εἶναι τὸ πᾶν.

The Uprising of Humility.
THE INTRODUCTION.
Why we chose the title
"The Message of Holy Monday".
Although Palm Sunday is the glorious feast of the reception of the King of Kings, we have chosen to focus on the message of Holy Monday.
The reason is that humanity today does not seem to be in the midst of a triumphant welcome, but rather at the "beginning of birth pangs."
Amidst wars, famine, global disorder, and spiritual drought, the world is already experiencing its own Passion.
Holy Monday, with the imagery of the withered fig tree and the prophecies regarding the end times, reflects our current agony, reminding us that through the trial and humility of the Passion, we are led to the true Resurrection.
1. The Voice that Pierces Hades.
Just as Christ stood before the tomb of Lazarus, so He stands today before the "tomb" of modern civilization.
The message is: Do not despair.
The stench of four days of decay (of moral and spiritual collapse) does not hinder God. A single word of His is enough to resurrect the "deadened" free will of man. Humanity is not lost; it is simply "bound in grave clothes" by its passions, awaiting the voice of the Master.
2. The Entrance into the "Bridechamber" of Sacrifice.
The entry into Jerusalem teaches us that the true King does not come with "think tanks" and "digital thrones," but "meek and riding upon a donkey."
To the people who suffer, we must give the example of patience.
To the power that grows arrogant, we must remind them of humility.
Holy Monday calls us to become "violent" for the Kingdom—not through the violence of weapons or computers, but through the violence we exert upon our own selves, to cleanse the "garment of our soul."
3. The "Bridegroom" Comes in the Middle of the Night.
We are living through the "night" of history. But the Church chants: "Behold, the Bridegroom comes." What we offer to the people is Watchfulness.
Do not sleep the sleep of unbelief.
Do not be deceived by the "vessels of clay" of global power. All these shall turn to ash, but Love and Grace shall remain.
The Essence
Today, on the Holy Monday of humanity, our word must be:
"Behold the Man" and "Behold your God."
Let us not fear the passions that are coming, for after the Crucifixion follows the Resurrection.
Humanity may be burning, but through the ashes of computers and arrogance, Christ will once again resurrect the "Lazarus-Man"—provided that we keep the flame of faith burning, like the wise virgins.
"I see Thy Bridal Chamber adorned, O my Saviour..." Let us prepare our hearts for the meeting. This is everything.
